Second Pilot Review: NBC's Bionic Woman

OMG!! This show is awesome, at least from a sci-fi stance. Bio-Ethics will do they stand in the grand scheme of things? Apparently, if you're Will Anthros, college professor and surgeon, with the full clearance to a governmental military secret base...they no longer apply when it's your girlfriend, whom you asked to marry you after finding out she's pregnant, Jamie Sommers. Jonas Bledsoe, the head of the entire operations, had a chance to save his wife, who was dying slowly and being disambled over a long two year period-Jonas could've saved her by giving her bionics also, but it wasn't part of the mission. Jae Kim fell for Sarah Curvis, the first Bionic Woman, but after she went insane killing half-a-dozen man in the complex, than he "killed" her or so they thought. Ruth Treadwell has the toughest job of all as the second in command, psychologist, and quite possibly the most even-tempered of them all.

Katee Sackhoff rocks as Sarah Corvis, Michelle Ryan rocks as Jamie Sommers (even though I kind of wish they'd change the name), Molly Price brings it as Ruth Treadwell (much like she did on Third Watch as Faith Yokas), Lucy Hale is the change-up (no more deaf sister, from what I am hearing) as Becca Sommers, Will Yun Lee is awesome as Jae Kim (much like he was in Witchblade with Yancy Butler), Miguel Ferrer rocks as Jonas Bledsoe (just like in Crossing Jordan as Dr. Garret Macy), however Chris Bowers needs some lessons and maybe a little more experience underneath his belt as Dr. Will Anthros, MD./Ph.D.

I liked the non-original Spiderman shout-out (you'll know it when you see it), um the way Jamie kicked that assholes butt in the alley, the verison of the little girl seeing Jamie run was hokie, Jae leaving the facility but sticking so close seems unrealistic, NYC and this mountain secret military base that seems quite easy to penetrate seems all so defiantly unrealistic, and whose that guy that Sarah was with and was escorting Dr. Anthros, Sr. at the end...seems contrary almost.

All-in-All this was the pilot and it was pretty good-doesn't measure up to the incredible pilot that Heroes had last year, but I see alot of potential. It's too bad and sad that I don't see this show lasting very long, I (much like Will was) hope I am wrong. I'll be watching this show.
