Duh!

Yep, you're hearing me correctly. Nope, I have not reviewed these pilots-but, I don't have to...it doesn't take too much common sense to know Nielsen Families, how ratings work, and the general viewing trends to know what will work and what won't. Here's two shows in particular guranteed to bomb The (newly reimagined 2007 verison) of the Bionic Woman on NBC-We have a young woman whose a baretender and a sarrogate mother to her deaf teenage sister, whose name happens to be-that's right-Jamie Sommers (the only character's name from the original Bionic Woman with Lindsay Wagner) who not just looses both legs, her right arm, an ear, but also (Steve Austin much, anyone!?) looses her right eye. She's in New York City and not Southern California. She's dating her modern-day Rudy Wells. She'll be going up against Crazy!Sarah who also recieved bionics herself but lost what was left of her sanity. Why people won't tune in for this one for very long? Well, it's hokie (I can tell just from the previews/trailers I've seen), the old-school!Lindsay Wagner fans (such as myself..even though I was like 3 when they closed down production) won't be too happy, and if you have a freak out factor you'll freak out when you see her new bionic legs for the first time.

The Sarah Connor Chronicles Firstly, lesbians and straight guys who have a thing for Lena Headey and all the Terminator Geeks will NOT be able to represent enough rating numbers to keep this show on the air for longer than say 4 episodes at the most. It's on FOX for crying out loud, they are nortiously good at bailing as soon as the numbers drop below a certain level-re: Dark Angel and Space: Above and Beyond. That and sentinet robots coming back from the future to destroy John Connor.

I personally can't wait for both shows to bomb. Katee Sackhoff belongs on Battlestar Galatica. Thomas Dekker belongs on NBC's Heroes right next to Hayden.

Sarah Conner Chronicles-

I admit the FOX angle don't look good(especially after Drive the "hit series" according to commercials). You forgot the Summer Glau fans. She is playing the good terminator.
